Solidity Language

Solidity is a contract-oriented, high-level language for implementing smart contracts.  It is used for implementing smart contracts on various blockchain platforms.  It was developed by Gavin Wood, Christian Reitwiessner, Alex Beregszaszi, Liana Husikyan, Yoichi Hirai and several former Ethereum core contributors to enable writing smart contracts on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum. It was influenced by C++, Python and JavaScript and is designed to target the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Solidity is statically typed, supports inheritance, libraries and complex user-defined types among other features. As you will see, it is possible to create contracts for voting, crowdfunding, blind auctions, multi-signature wallets and more.
